Placement Policy

Placement Policy & Guidelines

The Training & Placement Cell of Jayawantrao Sawant Institute of Management & Research (JSIMR) is committed to providing placement assistance to all eligible students who have successfully completed their academic requirements and maintained satisfactory conduct throughout their program.

Eligibility for Placement Assistance

  • Successfully complete their academic program.
  • Maintain satisfactory academic performance and attendance.
  • Demonstrate good conduct and discipline throughout the course.
  • Comply with all placement rules and procedures communicated by the Training & Placement Cell.

Placement Process

  • The Placement Cell will make every effort to invite a diverse range of organizations for campus recruitment.
  • Students may be required to attend selection processes either on campus, at company premises, or at any other venue designated by the recruiting organization.
  • Students must regularly check official communication channels for updates regarding recruitment opportunities.

Professional Conduct & Dress Code

  • Attendance at pre-placement talks, training sessions, personality development programs, aptitude training, and mock interviews is mandatory.
  • Students must report in the prescribed formal dress code or institute uniform for all placement-related activities.
  • Appropriate grooming, punctuality, and professional behavior are expected at all times.

Job Offer Policy

  • The Placement Cell will facilitate one final placement opportunity per student.
  • Upon securing and accepting a job offer through campus placement, the student will no longer be considered eligible for further placement assistance.
  • Students declining an accepted offer may not be eligible for additional placement support from the Institute.

Situations Leading to Withdrawal of Placement Support

  • Fails to attend a recruitment process after registration or shortlisting.
  • Refuses to participate in the selection process.
  • Communicates unwillingness to join the organization during the recruitment process.
  • Speaks negatively about the recruiting organization or the Institute.
  • Behaves unprofessionally during pre-placement talks, interviews, or assessments.
  • Does not join the organization after accepting an offer.
